Restaurant & Booking Policy

Ishiya Japanese Stonegrill operates daily including public holidays [Sunday Lunch is Closed except for Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.]

Ishiya Japanese Stonegrill is a walk-in and reservation restaurant. Should we not be able to provide you with your preferred reservation time we encourage you to visit us on a walk-in basis.

We will do our utmost to seat you and guests in your requested area, however we are unable to guarantee this due to the nature of the seating arrangements. Minimum spends apply to guarantee private function space. Ishiya Stonegrill Restaurant is family friendly! Please let us know if there are minors and babies within your group so we can arrange better seating options for you. [ ie. High Chairs and extra room for Prams.]

Please call us if you are running late as we will only hold your table for 15 minutes.

Please ensure you advise us if you have a post dining engagement to attended and thus have specific timings you would like us to adhere to.

Please note we do not split bills (one bill per table); however they do come fully itemised.

We Accept Cash or Credit Cards- all credit cards, Eftpos or EFT will incur a 1.5% transaction processing fee.

We are a fully licensed venue and therefore do not accept BYO unless prior arrangements with Ishiya Stonegrill have been made.

Please note as we operate and prepare food in commercial kitchen we cannot guarantee against allergic reactions.  Our Menu items may contain traces of shellfish, fish, sesame, nut, egg, soy, wheat, seeds and other allergens. Due to the nature of restaurant meal preparation and possible cross contamination, ishiya stonegrill is unable to guarantee the absence of the above ingredients in any of its menu items.

We reserve the right to refuse service and remove any person from any the premises if the relevant venue manager believes the person is intoxicated or is behaving in a violent, quarrelsome or disorderly manner towards other patrons or staff members. Our Management reserves the right to:
1. grant or refuse entry;
2. end the reservation at any time; and
3. extend the hours of the reservation.

Group Booking and Private Function Policy

Group Bookings
For groups of 10+ or more guests a minimum requirement of one main course per person is expected to be ordered for your booking. Guests may select from either our a la carte menu or one of our affordable and popular Banquet set menus. We welcome all parties to order a set menu for ease and speed of service. You are welcome to select additional favourite dishes from the a la carte menu to be added to your banquet service. Please notify us of particular special requests prior to your party date.

Private Bookings

For private functions a minimum spending will be applied for your booking. A deposit is required to confirm your booking, the deposit will be deducted from your final food bill. Ishiya Stonegrill requires all parties of 20+ or more pre-select from one of our many Banquet (set) Menu selections, which you will find attached. The entire booking must take the same banquet. You are welcome to select additional favourite dishes from the a la carte menu to be added to your banquet service. Please notify us of particular special requests prior to your party date, including children’s meals and cake.

Cancellation Policy

If a Private booking is cancelled, the deposit will be issued as a gift voucher or can be used for an alternate booking date. Deposits are not refundable. Ishiya Stonegrill Restaurant will retain the deposit as the ‘cancellation fee’ if less than the required hour notice is given. Minimum 7 days (1 week) cancellation notice (or deposit is lost).

Sunday & Public Holiday Policy

Ishiya Stonegrill is open Sunday evenings and public holidays, please note public holidays incur a 10% Labour surcharge.

If Ishiya Stonegrill states a price on the Site in relation to a product or service, that price is just indicative of the current price and should not be taken as a recommended price for that product or service. No dealer, distributor, reseller or stockist of Ishiya Stonegrills’ Products or Services has any obligation to charge a stated price for the relevant product or service.
